For a Leading Private Equity Firm
To respond to rapid growth, our client sought a large HR transformation program—its first truly global initiative. We worked with the firm to achieve the company-wide mindset shift required for seamless adoption.
Industry: Global Investment Firm
Company Size: 1,000 Employees
Service Area: Business Transformation
The Challenge
Spanning the Globe
The firm operated across eight global business regions, yet had never undertaken a transformation impacting all of its employees. They were growing rapidly, but their outdated and fragmented HR processes were beginning to impede their progress.
To continue growing, the client needed a way to modernize and standardize its HR processes throughout the entire company. Because this was their first global initiative, no change precedent existed, presenting both a great challenge and a great opportunity.
The Solution
Taking the Time to Listen
We worked with our client to conduct the firm’s first-ever global stakeholder assessment. The assessment yielded robust data on the client’s global workforce, including cultural differences and sensitivities. This data allowed us to:
- Launch a global stakeholder assessment to identify key groups and surface distinct needs across the firm.
- Determine the right visuals, language, and social media platforms for engaging and training various stakeholders
- Design all materials—videos, reference guides, and micro training programs—to be clear and concise for the firm’s busy personnel
We also tracked adoption along the way, allowing for dynamic, adaptable change.
The Results
Joyful Engagement
Our people-first approach won hearts and minds throughout the firm. Management and frontline staff alike were thrilled with the quality and accessibility of the materials we created. By taking time to deeply understand our client’s user base, we were able to design a resonant training and communications program that engaged busy stakeholders and facilitated seamless adoption.
